REVIEW THIS STORY

Prologue

     The evil Ganondorf gained access to the Triforce and became the King of Evil. After seven years, a young man, clad in green and bearing the legendary Master Sword, blade of evil's bane, defeated the Evil King and rescued princess Zelda. His name was Link, and he had been chosen by the gods as the Hero of Time, the one who would defeat Ganondorf, and later the Evil King's final form, Ganon.
     Many years later, Link's descendants would clash with Ganondorf again. It was believed that Ganondorf was killed by the new Link, but he was revived by the evil Agahnim years later. Yet again, another Link stepped up to save Zelda and banished the Evil King. These battles became legend throughout Hyrule and kept going throughout time.
     It was not too long ago that a twelve-year-old Link, the latest descendant of the Hero of Time, killed Ganon. He was sent by a mysterious messenger to rescue Zelda and slay Ganon. Four years after that, Link was summoned by Impa to awaken the true Princess Zelda from a magic slumber. By defeating Ganon's minions, who wanted their master to be revived, Link was able to reach the Great Palace and make his way to the wizard who controlled the spell on Zelda. Link had one last test remaining… he had to fight himself. The battle was long and fierce, but it eventually came to a head…

     "Vile shadow, return to whence you came!" Link yelled, swinging his magical blade with all his might. Shadow Link, his final enemy, moved to block the blow but was too slow in doing so, and he took the blow across his chest. He screamed in pain as black blood gushed from his wound, and he slowly began to fade away.
     A second blow by Link completed the task. The wizard nodded. "The spell is undone."
     On the bed where she had lied for many years, Zelda, still as young as she had been when the curse was placed on her, slowly woke up. "Uh… what happened?"
     The wizard smiled. "Princess, the curse is lifted. This brave boy completed the trials and awoke you".
     Zelda stood up and looked at Link, who turned a bit red and put his sword away. "Are you the hero this wizard spoke of?"
     Link nodded. "Yes, your highness. My name is Link. I'm from western Hyrule."
     Zelda smiled. "Link… please return to Hyrule Castle with me. I would very much like for you to protect me," she said.
     Link nodded. 'Okay. Impa's gonna be pleased with this. She sent me."
     Zelda nodded. "Somehow, I knew that… now, please follow me. There is a road to the castle from here."
