The first Zelda game that I ever played was Link's Awakening. I got into Zelda a little bit late because before I got my GameBoy Color I didn't even know that video games existed. But since then I've been playing, anticipating, and dreaming about the Zelda series.
When I got Link's Awakening, I didn't really know what to do, until my uncle explained to me that I had to wake up the Windfish by clearing each one of the temples located somewhere on the island. Then, it really got fun. After I beat the game, I heard from someone that there was a place in the island where you could chose from two different colored suits, so I found the place, went through it, and chose the blue suit.
A couple of months later, I bought the Ocarina of Time along with an N64 system. I remember my uncle telling me not to be afraid of the Skultulas. I didn't know what he was talking about then, but when I started climbing the giant web in the first temple, they started dropping down on me, which caused me to accidentally reset the game. I won't explain the rest of the game but it was really fun, especially in the Water Temple, where you had to defeat Dark Link.
After I beat the Ocarina of Time, I eagerly anticipated the release of Majora's Mask. But just before that, I got Super Smash Bros. and started kicking some serious b*tt with Link. When I finally took a look at the Versus Records area, I noticed that 85% of all the KOs were by Link.
When Majora's Mask came out, I decided to wait a few days because usually for the first few days the stores will be sold out. When I finally got it, it was just as fun as the Ocarina of Time, except that there was a time limit of about 72 minutes, or, three days in the game. I figured the goal out pretty quickly this time, but I still had some questions here and there.
I can't write much more because I have to do homework, anyway, I got the Oracle of Ages a couple of months after I beat Majora's Mask a sixth time. There are still a couple of Zelda games I haven't played, but I'm hoping that Nintendo will bring those out for the GBA.
I am currently waiting for The Legend of Zelda (The tentative title) to come out for the GameCube.
I'm not a hard-core Zelda fan but I am a true Zelda fan. If anyone wants to argue with me about it then e-mail me at RMX321@aol.com, LOL.
