Actually, BMB is taking the movie down of their own free will. Creative parody and satire do not apply to copyrights, nor does development without gain. This means if you spend $5000 to make a piece of creative license based on someone else's work with out the proper clearance you are in violation of their intellectual property.
Sure they will threaten to sue, because that is what corporations do. They hide behind lawyers. Trust me. I made a Ghostbusters fan film and went through the same crap. Sony told me they were going to sue to get ownership of my creative property. I gave them the name of my lawyer. They dropped the case real quick when they learned they actually had more to lose.

if BMB managed to get an ok to make the film at any time from Nintendo, i'd be thrilled. Nintendo should look at the numbers. cos i followed tales of Link and Friends since i heard of Zelda.
HEY NINTENDO! as a respectful request, can you allow distributions of the film i failed to see? everything was all good because BMB Finishes was actually making a movie, not just a trailer. if you can sell Poke'mon games AND movies, the same can be done with other brand-name charaters like Zelda and Friends. just have BMB get an OK and make them edit it in the credits: in Special thanks and Originality basis (Based on the video game distributed by NINTENDO). and you can even ask for a cut on the selling numbers. for a brand like this, i'd say 60 american dollars plus standard tax processes. BMB has my forgivness; i request also that you should do the same. if you accept, i shall be happy to purchase future nintendo titles in the Smash line AND to shake your hand.
if nintendo does read this, do read it again. it is profitable for nintendo and BMB to continue their businesses. if the price need be higher, i have no objections.
BMB Finishes, look at it this way. you're asking the host, with you as the client, to remain yourselves independant if they accept to distribute. they may ask you not to show your works on another one of their games again, but this is the greatest achievement you have made. critics and fans alike may agree with me, as they have you.
games like zelda are more than just. they are a form of inspiration. on Super Smash Bros. Melee, there was a quote on the Like Like trophy: "shield eaters and world leaders have many likes alike." there is much in common between movies and games. there is much in common between BMB Finishes and Nintendo. disregard the contrasts and bask in the comparisons.
that's all i have to ask and all to say. got questions? ask away.

I thought the movie was great, its amazing the stuff you were able to do on a limited budget.
I got my hands on the bittorent file after you were forced to take it down, i'll be handing out to who ever wants to see it. i just dont want you guys to think that your work was done in vain, your movie is still taking on a life of its own post 2009.

I got a high quality .MP4 downloaded before they took it down. I also converted it to a .mpg and made a good quality dvd from that.
So all is not lost. Though they may delete this comment. If anyone is interested just send me a youtube message.

I saw just two days ago that it had been released online, and wanted badly to watch it but didn't have time to do so until today because of the holidays, and now I've missed it. I'm very glad I got to see it while it was on dailymotion.I loved the movie (I watched it 5 times).I figured out that they weren't realsing it while I had some of my friends over for new years.Bummer! Me and my best friend r Zelda freaks and she didn't get to see it but at least they finally realesd it. Truly it is an awesome movie.

The movie was never advertised on TV. It wasn't released in commercial theatres, played on TV or released on DVD. It was a movie made by fans, and only shown at specially-organised screenings and then online at Dailymotion.com. I've never seen a fan film advertised on TV, even some of the most well-known ones.
Also i found out the truth is an actual script hasn't been written yet. So to the owner of this site i say, we need proof of this movie and if the movie is real. where is the info on this. i don't like when people advertise things and they don't have any info on this topic. I am the owner of this site, and if you want proof, ask the hundreds of thousands of people who watched the movie online before it was taken down (at Nintendo's request). This was an actual movie which was a fan film made by BMB Finishes. They had two screenings already which were non-profit, and they had it released online at Dailymotion.com, where it got over 200,000 views (I believe). I myself watched it twice, and there are people who ripped it off the site and are distributing it elsewhere.
The Hero of Time even has its own website you can check. Maybe people should stop confusing this movie with the IGN April fools prank.

I would luv to see a Zelda movie but. There was No what so ever a movie of the hero of time. I was off from work and checked the tv and never saw no such movie or trailer flick of zelda. Seriously, too many zelda fans has there hopes up for a new legend, a new hero,and a action movie that doesn't suck. as of right now nintendo never said it was ok for a movie to be made. But it would be great to relive the legend and take it to the big screen. For too many years Zelda has been the game of all times. and it still is. Nintendo needs to expand just like how sony has.
