Secrets in Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask

Does anybody know any strange secrets in the two N64 games?

I know one, right off the top of my head.

If you place a bomb next to a gossip stone, and the explosion hits it, the stone shoots up like a rocket.

If you whack the Gossip Stones with the Megaton Hammer, they'll be crushed flat, then they'll go back to normal.

Yeah...I noticed that one, too...strange happenings with Gossip Stones.

Another secret is (EVERYBODY has probably noticed this) that if you play Epona's Song by a cow, it'll give you free milk.

Did you know if you beat the record for the obstacle course at Lon Lon Ranch, you get a cow in your house?! Soooo AWESOME!!! Maybe I should go play OoT again... I've never really beaten it, I've seen my brother, but I'm in the middle of it. I'm at the Water Temple... I just want to blow it up right now.
Did you know that when you're still a kid, before Zelda and Impa flee the castle, when you go to Zelda she gives you hearts?! SO CUTE! And this isn't a lame topic, I love learning secrets about Oot and MM!

I have done that obstacle course at Lon Lon Ranch. It is hard to do, took me many tries.

I didn't know that Zelda gives you hearts. I'm positive I've gone back there before and that's never happened. Oh, well.

A secret:

In Majora's Mask, once you get the Postman's Hat and go to a mailbox, it will ALWAYS give you 1 rupee, except for the first time you do it, then you get a Heart Piece.

I also know a glitch in that game to make it so, Deku Link, Goron Link, or Zora Link can ride Epona. Go to an Owl Post, equip which mask, Z target it, save while targeting, go back into the game, and instantly press the mask button. Don't use this with Fierce Deity Mask, or else you'll instantly bring out your bow (which now looks awesome!) and the game will freeze. Don't use the Giant's Mask, either. When you use it, Link will be stuck floating in mid-air, acting like he's transforming into a giant. You can move and you'll just be Epona, but you'll be stuck in that place.

Don't know if anyone's interested in this glitch.

I did not know about the milk from the cow. But I did know that if you play Song of Storms at a cow, or the one near Goron Mountain anyways, a fairy comes, I believe. I'm not totally sure though.

Secret from OoT:

When you are walking around (this happens a lot in a temple) and either Navi turns green or she flies to a certain area and turns green, play the Sun's Song. A super fairy or whatever comes out. It restores both your health AND magic. You cannot catch it in a bottle, though, I think.

Well, about the whole Zelda hearts thing, maybe you have an older version of the game? I have the Wii Virtual Console version, and it has worked for me. Oh well...

In MM, there's a secret cavern which has many rooms in which you have kill creatures. To successfully beat this place, you'll have to get all 20 hearts. The last room has to be entered with all hearts.

Hm. That's cool. Sounds like the Cave of Ordeals in Twilight Princess. Another thing that makes me want to get Majora's Mask...
I think everyone knows this, but... Did you know that in the garden where you meet Zelda, in the right window (I think!) there's portraits of Mario and other characters? I'm pretty sure there's Mario, Peach, Luigi, Yoshi and Bowser. Also, if you use the slingshot into the other window, a bomb comes out? Hehe, that's always fun to do. And, after Zelda and Impa flee the castle, there's a gaurd in one of the backstreets. If you talk to him, he asks you if you're the boy from the forest and tells you to go to the Temple of Time and then he dies... I think he dies in the middle of a sentence, lol.

1:You can beat the fire and water temples before forest.
2: You can get to the shadow temple by means of a glitch jump I've forgotten that let's you beat it before the forest temple as well

i have ALWAYS been curious about these two little secrets i've stumbled upon in oot, but never really knew what to search for in terms of answers.

one's in kakariko village. if you're facing the windmill and look up, as the blades turn you can see these two rectangular holes in building. if you're standing on the roof with and have the longshot, you can aim for the lower hole and latch onto a wooden stake conveniently placed at the entrance. once you're inside there's a staircase that leads up to the second hole. and that's it. there's nothing else, no treasure chest no gold skulltula no nothing. you can't even burn the blades with a fire arrow as they pass by (lame D:). i always figured it was just something the developers meant to include in the game but tossed at the last minute...

secondly there's another little hole in the wall in jabu jabu's shrine close to the entrance of the fairy's fountain way up high on the wall and out of view. but there's SOMETHING up there because you can see the legs and part of the body of a skulltula. i feel like one could hack their way up there, and maybe one day my curiosity will get the better of me, but on my own i can't find anyway to get up there, and as far as i know there isn't one of those spots where you can plant a bean. *shrugs*

XD no no, that's a pretty big hole. and pretty hard to miss. the one i'm talking about is on a different wall and way high up, so much so you'd miss it if you weren't looking for it. its about the same size as the little hole in the wall in kokiri forest with the rupees that you can only reach by planting a bean...
